In 2013, he told us how he became a national treasure; three years later he called Noel Edmonds “a total wazzock”. He’s done radio: first on Radio 4’s On the Hour, then returning in 2010 to present Mid Morning Matters on North Norfolk Digital. He’s done TV: BBC Two’s The Day Today, followed by his own BBC chatshow – Knowing Me, Knowing You With Alan Partridge (where he accidentally shot dead a guest during a segment on duelling pistols).
