Aston Villa will have to make a decision on Nicolo Zaniolo’s future at the end of the season.
Italy international Zaniolo, 24, joined Villa on loan from Galatasaray last summer with a purchase option. Galatasaray called it a ‘conditional compulsory purchase option’ meaning Zaniolo will become a Villa player if certain criteria is met. Unai Emery was coy on Zaniolo’s future when asked about it recently. The Villa boss said: "I told him, 'Nicolo, even if you are playing with us next year, even if you are going back to Galatasaray, even if you are back in Italy, I want the best of you and only I want the good attitude you are showing now'."
