NBA superstar Kobe Bryant has died following a helicopter crash in
California, according to a report from the celebrity website TMZ.

Five people were on board the helicopter that went down near Calabasas, and all died. TMZ said his wife Vanessa was not on board. The LA Times also confirmed the news.
The LA County Sheriff’s Department tweeted that five people died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, but did not identify the victims.
A spokesperson for Bryant did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.
Bryant was a star for the
Los Angeles Lakers for two decades, winning five championships and making 18 All-Star Games before retiring in 2016.
