Russ Cook, from Worthing, West Sussex, has become the first person to run the full length of Africa after crossing the finish line in Tunisia. Cook set off from South Africa’s most southerly point on 22 April 2023 and he reached Tunisia’s most northerly point in Ras Angela at about 4.40pm, on Sunday covering more than 9,942 miles (116,000km) across 352 days.
