The first photos of the brand new
Love Island villa have been revealed, ahead of the first ever winter series.
For the new January run, the show will be moving from its usual residence in Mallorca to a brand new home in South Africa.
And while the show’s new villa had already been estimated to be at least twice the size of its usual compound, new pictures reveal exactly what’s been done with the space.
Of course, it’s still Love Island, so the new villa still has the usual touches that fans have become used to in the last five series – namely brightly-coloured scatter cushions everywhere and random words sprawled over the walls in a faux handwriting font – but there are a few new additions too...This year, the boys will have their own dressing room, which has been billed as a place to get ready and *sigh* “have some lad chat”, while pictures of the bathroom reveal there’s a double shower.
As well as a pool and hot tub, new pictures of the “vibey” hideaway also reveal where the hopefuls can get some alone time away from the rest of the villa.And speaking of alone time, this series Love Island has added a new feature called the “dog house”, where the contestants can sleep if they’ve been kicked out of the bed they’d usually share with their partners.

Among the seven girls and five boys joining the show this time around include a pair of identical twins, Rochelle Humes’ sister and a future “lord of the manor”.
