Saeed Jalili, a close adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and once the country's top nuclear negotiator, appeared to mock
President Trump when he tweeted an image of the Iranian flag after
Iran fired several missiles at Iraqi air bases housing U.S. troops.
The attacks on the bases were in response to the death of Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, who was killed last week in an airstrike authorized by Trump. In the wake of that airstrike, Trump tweeted an image of the U.S. flag.
