Patricia Arquette has joined the cast of Ben Stiller’s
Apple TV+ drama “Severance,” the streaming service said Monday.She’ll star alongside “Big Little Lies” alum Adam Scott in the workplace thriller, which Stiller is set to direct and executive produce.The project reunites Arquette and Stiller after previously collaborating on the Showtime limited series “Escape at Dannemora,” for which Arquette earned an Emmy nomination and a win at the 2019 Golden Globes.Also Read: HBO Ex-CEO Richard Plepler Signs 5-Year Apple TV+ Production DealFrom writer Dan Erickson, “Severance” centers on Lumen Industries, a fictional company “that’s looking to take work-life balance to a new level,” according to Apple. Arquette will play his boss.The project hails from Endeavor Content, the studio behind fellow Apple TV+ dramas “See” and the soon-to-premiere “Truth Be Told.”Executive producers on the series include Chris Black and Dan Erickson, and Ben Stiller, Nicky Weinstock and Jackie Cohn of Red Hour Productions.
