President Trump was apparently off meeting alligator breeders to fill a moat around the under-construction border wall. That left Beck Bennett's Vice President
Mike Pence in charge. Pence attempted to strategize for a counter to the impeachment inquiry with Aidy Bryant's Attorney General
William Barr, Kate McKinnon's
Rudy Giuliani, and
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, portrayed by surprise guest star Matthew Broderick, who threw in a few, self-referential lines sure to make John Hughes fans chuckle.Nobody was much help to Bennett's Pence, however, and one by one the three of them trickled out of the room, leaving the vice president to discuss a plan with
