The World Anti-Doping Agency has given Russia three weeks to explain alleged irregularities in laboratory data retrieved from Moscow.
Wada said it would fast-track a “formal compliance procedure” to look into the allegations at a meeting of its executive committee in Tokyo. If substantiated, the results could trigger a fresh ban on
Russian athletes at next year’s Tokyo Olympics.
