Former Vice President
Joe Biden says don't worry about his family members' business dealings. The
Democratic presidential candidate told Politico Tuesday that, despite some concerns that his younger brother, James Biden, and his son, Hunter Biden, have tried to use his political connections to bolster their own fortunes, he will build "an absolute wall between personal and private [business interests] and the government." Biden said that he has never discussed business ventures with his brother or his son and there is no evidence that the former vice president has ever taken any official actions to benefit them.Biden, as he often does, pointed to his tenure in the
White House alongside former President
Barack Obama as ample reason to trust him. "There wasn't any hint of scandal at all when we were there," he said. "And I'm going to propose the same kind of strict, strict rules."
