He came back and he didn't disappoint.
Ben Stiller returned to "
Saturday Night Live" to reprise his guest-starring role as
Michael Cohen, former attorney for President
Donald Trump, who appeared in front of
Congress this week. He was joined another guest star, former "
SNL" cast member
Bill Hader as U.S. Rep.
Jim Jordan.
Stiller once again gave Cohen the "SNL" treatment, this time to set the record straight under oath.
"The first time I testified was also under oath, but this time I really mean it," Stiller said.
He also brought documents with him, including a personal check he wrote to porn star Stormy Daniels, printed with cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
Then Hader launched into a frustrated version of Ohio congressman Jordan, who fumed that he was so angry that he couldn't even wear a jacket to the hearing. But it apparently worked to the advantage of other congressional members, including Kate McKinnon as Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who would yield their time back to Hader's Jordan so he could dig himself deeper.
All of it concluded with an exchange between Stiller and Kenan Thompson, playing Rep. Elijah Cummings.
"Look, maybe I'm not a good person, maybe I'm a liar, maybe I'm a fool, maybe I ruined hundreds of people's lives," Stiller's Cohen said.
"I'm sorry, is there a 'but' coming?" Cummings asks.
"No, there isn't."
