Nicki Minaj might have talked the talk when she took aim at
Travis Scott in a heated Twitter rant.
But the question is will she be able to walk the walk, as it looks as though she’s going to come face-to-face with
Kylie Jenner and her beau at this year’s
VMAs.
Just last week music streaming service Spotify refused to promote Nicki’s latest album after she previewed it on her Queen radio show 10 minutes early.
This led to the star hitting out in a string of frustrated tweets where she took aim at both Drake and Travis for beating her to a debut at number one in the official album charts.
Addressing her 20.2 million followers, she wrote: ‘Spotify put Drake’s face on every playlist but told me they’d have to teach me a lesson for playing my music 10 mins early on #QueenRadio. Even tho they’ve been giving away my music for free for years & I am one of the top Spotify artists of all time.’
She added: ‘Spotify had to teach me a lesson but rewarded the man who has had an Apple radio show the longest; inadvertently helping the Apple platform the most. Oh I can’t wait for #QueenRadio on Tuesday. They took away my promotion they had promised for the 1st cpl days b/c of this. #Queen’
She concluded: ‘I put my blood sweat & tears in writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & [their baby] Stormi. lol. I’m actually laughing. #Queen broke the record of being number 1 in 86 countries. Thank Jesus & thank you to my fans.’
But now it looks as though the 35-year-old is going to have to watch her back, as TMZ revealed she’ll be sitting right in front of both Travis and Kylie at the VMAs.
We’ll definitely be grabbing our popcorn and it looks like Nicki might have to dodge the love birds as she’ll be in full aim of theirs during the event.
While in prime popcorn target range, the rapper will be sat next to Ariana Grande, with Blake Lively positioned to Travis’ right.
