Ryan Coogler’s Untitled Vampire Thriller Adds 2 More to Cast By Two new cast members have joined ‘s currently untitled vampire thriller starring Michael B. Jordan. According to , Jayme Lawson (The Batman) is set to join onto the film in an as-of-yet undisclosed role, while noted that Wunmi Mosaku (Loki, Lovecraft County) has also joined the project in a mystery role. Both Lawson and Mosaku will join a cast that’s already brimming with stars, and includes Jordan, Delroy Lindo, and Jack O’Connell. Lawson is best known for her roles in The Batman and How to Blow Up a Pipeline, but has also appeared in 2022’s The Woman King and Till, as well as in 2022’s The
first lady, where she played a young
Michelle Obama. Mosaku most recently starred in 2024’s ITV1 series Passenger, as well as in 2022’s Alice, Darling. The film is rumored to be about vampires, with reporting earlier this year that Jordan may be playing not just one, but two blood-suckers. Puck also reported the film may be set in the
American South during the Jim Crow-era. Coogler is producing via Proximity Media with Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson will executive produce with Rebecca Cho and Will Greenfield. Coogler and Jordan have worked together on a number of movies before. Coogler made his feature film directorial debut in 2013 with Fruitvale Station, which starred Jordan. Jordan also starred in 2015’s Creed and 2018’s
Black Panther, both of which were directed by Coogler, while he also briefly appeared in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Coogler additionally executive produced 2018’s Creed II and produced 2023’s Creed III. Coogler’s next movie releases on March 7, 2025, from Warner Bros.
