Social Media with the same complaint after watching Take That close the show in the latest episode. The iconic band opened up the show by performing their huge hit Shine, before coming back to sing everybody out in what Ant and Dec promised would be a stellar performance. However, fans were left less than impressed when the three-piece made their way back to the stage, as they pointed out that one key element was missing compared to the usual End of Show Shows. The Mirror reports that fans took to social media in order to share their thoughts on the performance - with many saying it lacked energy. Far better when they are properly part of the act and it's full of energy. #antanddec #SaturdayNightTakeaway." A third said: "Worst end of the show ever ! #SaturdayNightTakeaway. "Worst end of the show #SaturdayNightTakeaway," a fourth echoed the same sentiment, with a fifth adding: "Very disappointed I didn’t get to sing Never Forget tonight like… missed opportunity #SaturdayNightTakeaway." "Zero effort put into that End of Show Show. #SaturdayNightTakeaway," a sixth shared, with a seventh adding: "Take that being totally self indulgent.... sing a medley! #SaturdayNightTakeaway." One shared: "Loved the performance at the end of the show," as another added: "That was the best end of the show in a while and Take That's new song sounds great." At the end of this series, Ant and Dec will host a two-hour live finale before taking a break from the show. Ant explained previously: "Part of the reason we’re pausing Takeaway is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family. We’ve both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit. "We need time to think and, and time to step back and look at the bigger picture and just see where we are now. Like I say, we’re turning 49, and what do we want to do next? What’s the next phase of our career? And we’ve got lots of ideas and lots of offers on the table, lots of options of things we can do. But it’s working on what we do next and where the next chapter begins. So that’s what we’re gonna do when SNT is out of the way. We’ll sit down, take a bit of time, and re-evaluate everything."
