Consisting of a pump and separate radiator to ensure the heat is drawn away from your CPU as quickly as possible, these mechanisms can be tricky to install. If you're trying to get one set up then we've got you covered with our guide which explains how to install an AIO cooler in a gaming PC. One major benefit of AIO coolers is the fact that they can provide a great bit of decor for the inside of your case, typically featuring RGB and some even fancier options boast screens on which you can display gifs or images. Because what gamer wouldn't want some extra RGB inside their PC? How to install an AIO cooler in your gaming PC We’ve opted for the ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB EVA-02 AIO cooler. Our case, the HYTE Y40 , supports a 360mm cooler, which refers to the size of the radiator you attach to the case, however, some smaller cases may need a 240mm or a 120mm so be sure you have the right fit. Install AIO cooler fans Some radiators will come with the fans preinstalled, but if yours doesn’t, then install them as directed in the instruction manual. This will require you to align the fans and then attach them to each corner using the provided screws. Install AIO cooler radiator Now it's time to find the right place for your radiator and since it's quite large, you don’t want it to be in the way of any of your other components. I chose to attach mine to the top of the case so it's completely out of the way, this is done in the same way as installing fans to your case. You can choose to just use four screws, one in each corner, however, I used two extras in the middle as my radiator is quite heavy. Install AIO cooler pump Now it's time to attach the pump to your CPU. To start with, apply a blob of thermal paste to your CPU, and use a pea-sized amount in the middle which will then spread as you attach the cooler. Place the pump on your CPU and then screw it in place into your bracket using the four screws at each corner. And with that, your all-in-one cooler is fully installed, now you just need to plug in the required cables. Your fans may have separate power cables which route into your PSU or motherboard. Your radiator and pump will have two separate power cables, which will plug into your motherboard. Just follow the manual provided with your AIO cooler if you have any issues with this last step, as things can vary depending on the manufacturer. Once you've got everything plugged in, you're ready to get gaming. Next, why not learn how to install more RAM for your gaming PC or how to download PlayStation on PC ?
