Beyond Paradise viewers are hoping for a crossover with a Death in Paradise favourite in the coming weeks after some big news. In the latest episode of the
BBC spin-off series, a couple got engaged after a sweet proposal leaving viewers thrilled. Now, some fans are questioning if it could see the arrival of some familiar faces, including one hit character who just left the main show in recent weeks. On Friday, Beyond Paradise aired the moment Humphrey and Martha finally decided to get married. Not only that, but Humphrey announced he'd even booked the wedding date, and it was just weeks away. After being spurred on by comments made by another character, he decided he and Martha should make things official as it was something they both wanted. Not wanting to wait any longer, he told Martha he'd booked their big day, as long as she was still keen to wed him, which she was. The pair embraced as they declared their love for each other, before announcing their happy news to their nearest and dearest. There were celebrations all round, and viewers were thrilled with the update on the show. As fans reacted to the news on X, one fan posted: "when they said they're getting married....finally a Humphrey and Martha wedding." Another agreed: "I swear if Humphrey and Martha don’t get married in Saint Marie I will actually cry." BBC Beyond Paradise exit 'sealed' as huge threat looms in worrying preview Beyond Paradise viewers were overjoyed with news of a wedding looming on the BBC series ( Image: BBC) But one viewer speculated as to whether the looming wedding could bring about some familiar faces, and a crossover fans are desperate to see. One viewer hoped we might see Death in Paradise favourite Neville Parker making a cameo, just weeks on from him leaving the main show. But it's not just Neville they want to see on the show, with Camille and Florence also called on to make a comeback to the franchise. The viewer posted: "I’d love for Camille to come over from
France, Florence and Neville from wherever they are, and the crew from Saint Marie to come for the wedding!" It comes as the latest episode of Beyond Paradise teased a possible exit was on the cards. In fact it was teased more than one character could bow out of the hit show, as in the preview clip for the next episode in the second series, two characters talked of possible departures looming. Show favourite Kelby, played by
Actor Dylan Llewellyn, was fearful as he learned some worrying news about the future of the town's
police station. With talks of a merger amidst the station facing closure for a while, it's yet to be confirmed what will happen. In the preview clip, a panicked Kelby was shown asking Margo: "You honestly think they could get rid of one of us?". It seems she's had some news from the above, as she responds: "The chief super said nothing is off the table." But will the station close and are Kelby and the others at risk of losing their jobs? Beyond Paradise airs Fridays at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat ,
