A medical student has been jailed for manslaughter after a woman died as he gave her cosmetic surgery. The man - named only as Jorge V - was sentenced to three years and three months in
prison. He was found guilty of manslaughter due to negligence. The court held him responsible for the death of Georgina Nayeli Ruezga during a cosmetic procedure on 24 May last year. According to the investigation, the student and two other individuals illicitly gave Georgina liposuction and fat transfer. Tragic Donna Butterfield , 30, died after travelling to the Spanish island of Majorca for a £6,000 boob job. The hairdresser and aspiring model had the operation at Clinica Luz in the capital Palma. But during the operation, she went into cardiac arrest and had to be urgently transferred to hospital. She was in intensive care for almost two weeks before she passed away.
