Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes revealed she's put on weight after a recent bout with depression in a candid post on
Instagram . The children's TV star made the confession on Thursday, sharing on her Story: "I've gained over 20lbs in the past few months from being depressed." The former All That alum admitted she wants to get herself back on track and 'eat clean'. She added: "I'm doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don't feel like working out or eating clean. I weigh 162lbs right now and want to get back to 110lbs." At the time of her interview with Paper, she had been four years sober. Her weight confession comes after reports she was asked to take part in the damning documentary, Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV. Amanda is thought to have declined an invitation from producers to take part in the programme. Despite not being interviewed in the tell-all show, Amanda does feature heavily, with one scene showing her in a hot tub with Dan Schneider. The documentary features explosive allegations about Nickelodeon during the years Schneider worked at the network, with claims the child actors were highly sexualised while others faced shocking
racism. Schneider has denied claims made against him in the documentary. The documentary featured a clip that showed Schneider in a hot tub with Bynes when she was 16 years old. The video is taken from The Amanda Show and was filmed in 2002. It shows Schneider, who is 20 years Bynes' senior, sitting next to the

Today my special guest is executive producer of The Amanda Show, Dan Schneider." Schneider replied with a simple "hi" before explaining how he was also the head writer at the channel. Bynes added: "You actually wrote the words that we are saying to each other right now." A representative for Schneider has since released a statement. Speaking to Variety, they said: "If there was an actual problem with the scenes that some people, now years later are ‘sexualising,’ they would be taken down, but they are not, they are aired constantly all over the world today still, enjoyed by both kids and parents."
