Los Angeles and he made sure to soak up the sun during his lavish getaway. The TV presenter has left his fans green with envy over the past few days as he has been documenting his trip online. And on Wednesday (March 27), the broadcaster left fans hot under the collar when he shared a steamy shirtless snap on
Instagram. He blessed his 129k followers with a carousel of lavish snaps online. He captioned the sweaty post: “Since I saw you last, I’ve turned into a palm tree! I used to live in LA. Been a while since I’ve seen the gang.” Gethin went on to share a list of things he got up to in a bullet point list which included a reminder to himself for his next trip. He noted: “Should have worn shades to
golf, forgot a pic of Pat, Hoggy’s Rose face.” The presenter also shared some of his favourite things he got up to on his trip which included seeing “the boys”, enjoying a “fantastic read”, and trying out the “best coffee in town”. It didn’t take long before his adoring followers showered him with compliments immediately after posting. One user penned: “Looks fab. It’s currently snowing here, so you’re definitely in the right place.” Another gushed: “Loving your hairy chest. More, please” as a third echoed: “You’re looking very nice in this photo from your holiday in Los Angeles.” Meanwhile a fifth chimed in with: “Have a relaxing break, you so deserve it.” It comes after Gethin stepped back from presenting on the
BBC show last month as he went to support his friend Craig Maxwell. Craig, the chief commercial officer of the Six Nations rugby, has been given months to live after he was diagnosed with an incurable and inoperable EGFR lung and bone
cancer back in September 2022. He was forced to wait 78 days to receive his terminal diagnosis. Looking back on the process, he described it as being the worst time for his family, prompting him to want to make a change and push for the process to be sped up for future patients. After his diagnosis, he has embarked on an epic 78-=mile trek along the Welsh coast in the hopes of raising £1million. The 41-year-old was joined by 530 walkers including Gethin for the challenge which will see him walk 576 miles and cycle 204 miles. The pair discussed his challenge on the show as they walked through the countryside. Gethin asked his friend why he was taking part rather than “putting his feet up on holiday”. Craig replied: “There’s two reasons. The first one is the experience me and y wife went through by waiting for those 78-days – we just felt compelled that we needed to do something for the next family. “That wasn’t something that we wanted someone else to experience and there are ways in which we can help solve that problem. So that’s really driven and motivated us. But also, the most challenging part really is unfortunately, I’m not going to be there to give the right messages and support to my wife and children in the future.”
