has taken to to tell fans to "take it a little easy" on his former on-screen brother after public backlash following the explosive documentary series, Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV. The documentary series premiered earlier this week and called out various abuses going on at during the late 90s and 2000s.
Drake himself was featured and spoke publicly for the first time about he endured under Brian Peck who worked for the children's network. Drake's long-term acting partner, Josh Peck (no relation to Brian), who worked with Drake on the hit show Drake and Josh has stayed silent amid the bombshells, prompting fans to demand he say something. Drake posted a video on TikTok defending his former co-star. Drake started the almost minute-long video by saying: "Hey what's up guys? I just wanted to clear something up. I've noticed a lot of comments on some of Josh's TikToks and some of his posts and I just want to let you guys know that, this is - really processing this and going through this is a really emotional time and a lot of its very, very difficult." "So not everything is put out to the public," he continued. "But I just want you guys to know he has reached out to me. And it's been very sensitive but he has reached out to talk with me and help me work through this and has been really, really great." He ended his video with a plea for his fans. "So just wanted to let you guys know that and to take it a little easy on him," he finished. In the four part documentary series, Drake opened up about his abuse sharing that he was the John Doe in the case against Brian Peck. Peck was arrested and charged with
Sexual Abuse of a minor back in 2003. Business Insider reported that Peck pleaded no contest "to performing a lewd act with a 14- or 15-year-old and to oral copulation with a minor under 16." The Nickelodeon employee was then sentenced to 16 months in
