The Emmy Awards will air live on both coasts at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 17.No cable subscription? No problem. The 2017 Emmy Awards will be available to stream several different ways this year.
CBS will broadcast television's big night live on both the East Coast and the West Coast beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday. Subscribers to select cable offerings, including Frontier and Verizon, who can't get to the TV in time to watch can stream the show live online and via the CBS app.
But people who have cut the cord have options, too. CBS All Access, the company's standalone streaming service, will live stream the Emmys in 175 markets, including Los Angeles and New York. All Access costs $6 per month, but is currently offering a free trial for new members. It is available on mobile phones, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV and other streaming TV devices.
Live streams of the CBS broadcast will also be available in select markets via online skinny bundles offered through Hulu, PlayStation Vue and FuboTV.
Host Stephen Colbert will preside over the 69th Annual Emmy Awards. The show kicks off at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Sunday, Sept. 17.
