Fittingly, this was a win for
Ireland built entirely on what Andy Farrell is known to be very good at: all the stuff without the ball. They were stronger and more tenacious in the tackle and the ruck, the points of possession where competition is a factor and they simply looked more up for it in those areas physically and mentally.
For
Scotland, there was a lot to like but ultimately it didn’t produce a win and nor does it give any confidence of this being any better vs
England at Murrayfield next week. A greatest hits performance from them in so many ways 6.39pm GMT
