Tensions between the
Duke of Sussex and the press go back to the death of his mother

The publication of photographs showing the
Duchess of Sussex with her baby son in
Canada has prompted a warning by the royal couple’s lawyers against running images taken in such circumstances.
The warning comes as a debate over paparazzi photos was reignited after some sections of the press broke a self-imposed embargo introduced after the death of Prince Harry’s mother, Diana, more than two decades ago.
