Democratic debate why she wouldn't immediately ban fracking if elected president, Klobuchar said she considers natural gas a necessary "transition fuel," which can help the U.S. net zero carbon emissions in the long run. Sanders, who supports a fracking ban, simply shook his head.Seconds later, when Klobuchar made the claim that the candidates on stage share similar climate and energy plans, Sanders was caught on camera mouthing "no."
Klobuchar's stance on fracking and natural gas, though, did receive some praise from the right.
