Two people have been killed in a
shooting at a church near Fort Worth,
Texas, on Sunday morning.
Emergency services said a third person has been taken to hospital.
MedStar Mobile Healthcare spokeswoman Macara Trusty said that one person died at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, about eight miles west of Fort Worth, and the other died on the way to hospital.
Trusty said she has been told by a supervisor at the scene that one of the people who died was the gunman.
Texas attorney general Ken Paxton said that his office would assist in any way necessary.
“Please pray for any victims and their families, this congregation, and the law enforcement officials at the scene,” Paxton said.
