Gianluigi Buffon: Juventus to Liverpool/Manchester CityItalian goalkeeping legend Gianluigi Buffon has announced today that he’s leaving Juventus at the end of season – but could he keep playing instead of retiring?
The 40-year-old, who’s expected to hang up his gloves after Juve’s match against Verona on Saturday, has revealed that a number of clubs have offered him the chance to prolong his career.
“Up until 15 days ago, it was certain and well-known that I would stop playing”, he said. “Now I have received some proposals and exciting challenges, both on the field and off it.”
It’s reported that Liverpool are trying to convince Buffon to move to Anfield. There is also interest from
