Still, Penix proved he was one of the best players in college football last season. That doesn't always translate to the next level, though, and not everyone agrees with the AFC coach's evaluation. He will surely have the opportunity to prove himself on the field at the NFL level, and he did nothing but succeed after he transferred to Washington in the college game. In fact, he succeeded enough for one coach to rank him as the second-best quarterback in the entire draft.
