Blackbirds have a special meaning for country
Singer Tanner Adell now and she's revealed the specific reason she got it tattooed. Tanner was featured on the cover of 's Blackbird in new album and second installment, with other Black country singers such as Reyna Roberts, Brittney Spencer and Tiera Kennedy. The Buckle Bunny singer shared with The Mirror on the ' red carpet that her and the three other country singers on the cover got their own blackbird tattoos to celebrate the experience. "Me, and Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy and Reyna Roberts went and got matching tattoos in our own style so they're different but we all got blackbird tattoos to commemorate us being on Blackbird with
Beyoncé on Cowboy Carter," Tanner told The Mirror. Tanner's blackbird tattoo is a black outline of the bird wearing cowboy boots with black flowers on them, with the same black flower on its belly. Above the blackbird in the tattoo are little stars details. She showed her other tattoos, a unicorn with a banner that says glitter which she didn't go into details about the reason for the tattoo stating it would be long. She did hint that it had something to do with therapy. And another one of her late dog, Lola who she calls her guardian angel. "After she [Lola] passed, I just felt like I had to have her with me all the time," said Tanner.
