The incident took place just before 10am between junctions 8A and 9 near Saffron Walden, Essex . The M11 northbound between these junctions has been left partially blocked, slowing down traffic. A spokesperson for the East of
England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 9.59am with reports of a collision on the M11 near Saffron Walden. We sent one ambulance and took a man to Addenbrooke's Hospital for further care." A Cambridgeshire
police spokesperson said: "This was a single-vehicle collision. Highways are managing the incident."
