A man who had been sleeping rough was found dead inside the former children's home where he grew up. The body of Andrew 'Pud' Reece was discovered inside the abandoned building in Staffordshire . Speaking at the inquest, Nicola told the coroner's court: "Pud never went anywhere without his phone, he loved
music and always had his earphones in. "There was another girl and a boy who police did not take statements from, too. They were with him the night before he was found. “He was in that children’s home as a child - I think from around five years old - and he went back years later when he was homeless. It’s not right that he was found without his belongings, something doesn’t add up. We thought that if anything would have killed him then it would have been the drugs, not suicide.” North Staffordshire assistant coroner Daniel Howe delivered the suicide verdict. He added: “I’m satisfied that the cause of death was by hanging. The absence of other injuries means that it’s unlikely any third parties were involved. My considered conclusion is suicide.”
