youngest son has emerged as an unlikely survivor in a complete rinsing of men's
fashion sense. Barron, 18, has been pictured posing at his dad's infamous Mar-a-Lago, alongside four very important men indeed. So important, in fact, they've vowed to reclaim the country, or at least that's the promise of business mogul J (Justin) Waller. To us mere mortals, Trump Jr's impressive 6'7 frame is what stands out most in the photo of him beside Colby Covington, Justin Waller, Patrick Bet-David and Bo Loudon. For X menswear guru, Derek Guy, however, the image of these five well-heeled men in suits strikes up altogether different feelings and none of them are good. Yet to his credit, Barron, dressed in a plain black suit, white shirt and blue tie, remained untouched by Derek's criticism. He launched a thread on X in response to the snap shared by J Waller with the caption: "Good evening. Let’s take this country back.." Naturally his words were proudly followed by not one, not two but three flags of the stripes and stars. In response, Derek wrote: "Let's talk about some of the tailoring and choices in this photo, and how you can avoid making the same mistakes. "A lot of guys have a hard time accepting that good tailoring is not about making things as slim as possible. When clothes are this tight, they will restrict movement. I suspect this is why a lot of guys say that tailoring is uncomfortable." First to go under the microscope was construction mogul-turned
Social Media motivator J Waller whose hulking torso appeared to put strain on his shirt and three-piece. "A lot of athletic men assume they look better in this type of tailoring. They do not," Derek fumed before reeling off looser alternatives. Former UFC champion Colby Covington was called up on for his garish Louis Vuitton loafers. "Although you don't always have to choose classic footwear, doing so will provide you with the guardrails against falling into stuff like this," Derek said. "Two-toned, tasseled driving mocs and double-monks look like five open browser tabs set to various menswear blogs." Political commentator Patrick Bet-David almost survived the suit scrutiny unscathed were it not for his jacket collar not quite hugging his neck line. Content creator and self-proclaimed 'Trumplican' Bo Loudon mix and match get-up appeared to backfire. Derek wrote: "Finally, jacket and trousers should always work together to form a harmonious whole. When trousers are too low rise and tapered like this, they look at odds with the coat."
