Comedian Nicole Byer and singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright are some of the artists featured on the 2024-2025 programming lineup for the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts . Rufus Wainwright will be at The Wallis for three nights reimagining his project “Rufus-Retro-Wainwright-Spective,” performing a unique program every night. Additionally, the
Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra will perform works by Schumann and Schubert while the LA Opera will feature the voices of renowned vocalists Benjamin Bernheim, Ryan Speedo Green and Joshua Guerrero. The 2024-2025 season will feature additional musical performances by the string quartet Brooklyn Rider, the Scott Dunn orchestra and the Pacific Jazz Orchestra. This season will also feature multiple theater performances, including “Here There Are Blueberries,” by Moisés Kaufman and Amanda Gronich; the stage adaptation of J.M. Coetzee’s novel “Life & Times of Michael K”; William Kentridge’s “The Great YES, The Great NO”; and a one-night-only stand up show performed by Nicole Byer. L.A. Dance Project is slated to present Benjamin Millepied’s interpretation of Prokofiev’s “Romeo & Juliet Suite”; the Los Angeles Ballet will perform “Memoryhouse” by artistic director Melissa Barak; and Mark Morris Dance Group will tribute the Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club” with “Pepperland.” BODYTRAFFIC and the circus company Circa are also a part of this season’s lineup at The Wallis. “This season marks the culmination of my 28-year journey that began in
