New York while she was filming the 2016 movie How To Be Single. Rebel wrote of how she was almost at her heaviest weight when she first had sex, and her delay in doing so was because she felt as a ‘big girl’ no one would ever ‘truly’ find her sexually attractive. But things changed when the
comedy actor’s mother was diagnosed with breast
cancer. ‘…life IS short. I didn’t want to live my life without experiencing sex. Experiencing love. I put it out into the universe that I was finally ready. I was going to feel the fear and just do it,’ she reportedly wrote. ‘I was going to slut it up with the next guy that came along – who also seemed like a suitable marriage candidate.’ Pitch Perfect co-star Hana Mae Lee actually set her and Micky up, and Rebel is said to have described being ‘immediately smitten’ with the ‘sexy’ actor. Micky ‘pursued’ Rebel, travelling with her around the world as her film career rocketed and after a month of dating the night in New York seemed like the right time to consummate their relationship. Instagram, she thanked supporters who had ‘shared with me their stories of this a*****e! Don’t worry I won’t be bullied or threatened by this guy! And am working hard behind the scenes to make sure my book comes out! ‘PS my book is not ABOUT this guy – this is one chapter!’ Sacha then hit back through his lawyers denying the claims made in her book, which appear to revolve around their film Grimsby, released in 2016. The statement said: ‘While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.’ The specific allegations against him are unclear, but Rebel previously spoke about her time filming the movie in 2014 while talking to Australia’s Kiss FM. In 2014, she said: ‘Every single day he’s like, “Rebel, can you just go naked in this scene?” And I’m like, “No.” Sacha and I have the same agent in America and I’m like, “Sacha, I’m going to call our agent Sharon and tell her how much you are harassing me.”‘ She added at the time that Sacha told her ‘just go naked, it will be funny. Remember in Borat when I did that naked scene?
