The senior boyfriend of a 20-year-old prostitute was arrested in connection to the murder of her pimp with the couple having been on the run since last November. It's alleged that Antonio Pereira, 65, convinced his girlfriend, Ana Silva, to lure Glaudencio Santos, 41, to a landfill in an administrative region in Federal District. Civil
police investigators claim Antonio had been plotting Glaudencio's death since he discovered that Ana worked for him as an escort. Glaudencio, who worked as a prostitute before becoming a pimp, was contacted by Ana and told to meet her at a landfill they'd frequent in the past. Once there, the pimp was ambushed and tortured by Antonio who shoved a gun into his mouth— police say it was punishment for making Ana perform oral sex on customers. Authorities would later find two dogs , believed to have belonged to Glaudencio, at the scene. He concealed himself in a shack, where he tried to commit suicide by stabbing himself in the neck and chest. The cops who found him were able to proved medical assistance on the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital. Elsewhere, in April, another man named Antonio Pereira, 45, coldly shot his own daughter and son-in-law and wounded two others before he was shot and killed himself. Pereira broke into his son-in-law's home on the hunt for his daughter, Poliana de Oliveira, 24. Police said he sought revenge after he was convicted of allegedly sexually assaulting her. The

"We cannot yet specify who fired the shots at the perpetrator as we have were unable to hear from the survivors," Fronza said. Pereira was transported to a medical facility, where he was pronounced dead.
