Shannen Doherty has revealed she is preparing to give away all of her possessions as she continues to battle her
cancer diagnosis. The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star has kept her fans regularly updated regarding her health following her revelation she has stage four breast cancer. Now, the actress, 52, has admitted she has to "let go" and have a clear out in a bid to create an "easier transition" for her mum when she dies. Shannen told her Let's Be Clear podcast that her mum, Rosa, is her priority at the moment. She explained on the show: "I know it’s going to be hard on her if I pass away before her." Actress added: "Because it’s going to be so hard on her, I want other things to be a lot easier. I don’t want her to have a bunch of stuff to deal with. I don’t want her to have four storage units filled with furniture." Shannen said she plans to donate or sell her antiques and other valuable items she has collected. She admitted her plan was "just in case" anything happened to her and speaking of a recent trip to clear out her Tennessee property, she said: "So we were in Tennessee and I was packing up one of the places there. It was really hard and really emotional because to a certain extent — I felt like I was giving up on this dream of building this property out, and putting a house for me and a house for my mom and then extending the barn." She got teary eyed as she explained it was the end of her dream, despite her mum telling her not to give it up. However, she said it was the "right thing to do". In January, Shannen admitted there will be "a lot of people" not invited to her funeral when the time comes. "There’s a lot of people that I think would show up that I don’t want there," she told her podcast guest Chris Cortazzo at the time. When Chris asked if he'd be invited, Shannen quipped: "That's the shorter — that’s the better list. I can’t give you a list of who I don’t want because that’s way too long."
