RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — NC State University students and fans are thrilled to see both the Wolfpack men’s and women’s
basketball teams making incredible runs to the Final Four. The celebration went through Monday morning as both the men’s and women’s teams returned to campus. Our CBS 17 crew saw a lot of students wearing their Wolfpack gear on campus later in the morning to celebrate the team’s wins. “It was awesome to watch, especially against Duke. Like, I couldn’t imagine a better way to get into the final four,” said student Landon Hollander. William Dobson is in the pep band and he’s been at every single game, playing his tenor saxophone and cheering the Wolfpack onto every victory in both the ACC and NCAA tournaments. He told CBS 17 it’s been a whirlwind and no one’s getting a lot of sleep – but it’s worth it to see this team go this far. “I’m so ready to go. I mean, we’re in the Final Four, so you’ve got to be pumped about this,” Dobson said. If you’re thinking about going to either tournament, prices through Ticketmaster are at least $300 to $400 for one game and around $700 minimum for both Final Four games.
