Emmerdale fans think they 'know' what Jai Sharma has done with his biological dad Amit after getting revenge over Rishi's death. As viewers of the ITV soap know, Jai discovered Rishi wasn't his biological dad last year when he discovered his adoption papers. It transpired that Jai's mum, Georgia, had a fling with Amit but Rishi decided to take Jai on as his own. He was, however, furious to discover the truth and disowned his dad before making amends before his wedding with Laurel Thomas. But Jai was hurt when Rishi failed to show up for the celebrations, only to later find him lifeless at the bottom of the stairs in Holdgate having seemingly fallen to his death after getting ready to attend his son's special day. Amit denied it and Jai seemingly put his suspicions to bed. However, viewers saw Amit seemingly confirm he killed Rishi after he and his brother had been left a huge sum of inheritance money by their relative who had died. When Bill suggested he hoped his latest business decision is better than his previous ones, Amit confirmed he was planning to keep the inheritance money for himself, wanting to use it to cover possible debts and his new business venture, the HOP, with Gabby Thomas. But in recent scenes, Amit was seen attempting to take advantage of Pollard as he learned of his Parkinsons diagnosis. Fans quickly feared for the Emmerdale icon as it was revealed Amit planned to fleece Pollard of his money was actually part of a bigger plan as he needed money to pay back a mysterious lady called Dee, who popped by the village to warn him she wanted her cash back. Jai pushed Amit down the stairs (Image: ITV) Pollard, however, was onto Amit and later tried to get evidence to prove his dodgy ways but it was Jai who ended up getting his comeuppance and during a confrontation during Thursday's (March 28) episode of Emmerdale, he pushed Amit down the stairs, leaving him bloodied and with a suspected broken leg while interrogating him. He was adamant he wanted to be able to get a confession out of his dad and refused to get him medical treatment whilst he urged him to tell the truth about Rishi and everything he had done to pull the wool over his family's eyes. Pollard did interrupt the tense stand-off between the pair but agreed to keep quiet when he left. Then, at the very end of the hour-long episode, Jai was seen cleaning the blood stains off the stairs and the carpet before wheeling a suitcase away as he chatted with Laurel on the phone, making up an excuse as to why he was late home.
