police were called to a dog running loose on a major Cambridgeshire A-road. Motorists spotted the rogue animal on the A1M on Thursday morning (March 28). She has now been caught and taken to a vet. Police have said she has suffered a few minor scrapes but is expected to be ok. Inrix, the traffic data company, reported one lane was closed while the dog was captured. A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "Thanks to those who reported the dog running loose on the A1M today. Officers were able to capture it and get her to a vet quickly. She has been checked over and returned to the owner with a few scrapes but she’ll be fine. Huge thanks to Broadway Vets for their help."
