Model and TV presenter Christine McGuinness has appeared on The One Show where she revealed she had a "fear of dying" that was "keeping her awake at night". Christine, who split with husband Paddy McGuinness after 11 years of marriage in 2022, was on the March 27 edition of the
BBC show to talk about her latest TV appearance on Pilgrimage: The Road Through North Wales, which sees seven celebrities of different faiths trek across Pilgrim's Way. The mother-of-three appeared on The One Show sofa alongside fellow pilgrims, presenter Spencer Matthews and journalist Shanali Shah and told hosts Roman Kemp and Alex Scott what she felt trekking on the show did for her. Friends, Christine said: "For me personally it was.. not being so scared of dying anymore. "That was something that was really keeping me awake at night, I have three young children.... The worries and concerns as a parent, of course you worry about being around to look after them, but for me it was really taking over my mind. On the pilgrimage I learnt to live in the moment and the present and that's the thing I took away from it."
