Production on season three of Euphoria has been put on hold by TV bosses before it has even started. Fans have been not-so-patiently waiting for any information on upcoming episodes of the
HBO teen drama , starring Zendaya , Jacob Elordi and Hunter Schafer, since the second series premiered at the beginning of 2022.
Sydney Sweeney , who plays Cassie Howard, recently sent us all into meltdown when she confirmed that she would be jumping straight into filming the third season, following work in films including Anyone But You, Madam Web and her new horror movie, Immaculate. Amid claims the program, created by Sam Levinson, had been axed altogether, it was confirmed that production has been pushed back, meaning the gang will have some time before returning to East Highland High School. A spokesperson for HBO told Metro.co.uk in a statement: ‘HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season. ‘In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.’ Deadline reports that there had been no firm production start date, but things were expected to pick up in the next few months.
