England at Wembley to steal the headlines, but it was another exciting teenager who may be of more interest to
Manchester City . With 13 minutes left, Girona's on-loan winger Savio was introduced at Wembley and made an instant impact on his international debut. Boxed in on the right wing, Savio managed to flick the ball into the centre, and although it fell to an England shirt, the rebound was picked up by Andreas Pereira who played in Vinicius Jr to shoot - with Endrick bundling in after Jordan Pickford saved. As England pushed for an equaliser, Savio almost set up a second for his country, skipping clear past Kobbie Mainoo out of his own box and driving forwards in the dying seconds. Football Group sister club Troyes. He was a record signing for the French outfit, joining two years ago for £5m, potentially rising to £10m. However he has spent both seasons out on loan - first at PSV Eindhoven where he played eight times, and now at Girona where he has helped the underdogs to third spot in La Liga. His 10 goals and seven assists in 33 games are among the best in the league this season, with City aiming to strike in a summer transfer after holding talks with Troyes. As of last month no move had been agreed but the club are expected to come to a deal. Only three players have more assists than Savio in La Liga this season, with compatriot Vinicius the only player with more dribbles per game. Only Jeremy Doku can offer more dribbles per game among the current City squad, and only Julian Alvarez has more assists than Savio, who also has more league goals than every City player other than Phil Foden or Erling Haaland.
