Frank Skinner has made a shock statement to say he'll be leaving Absolute Radio after spending 15 years at the station. The 67-year-old comedian and broadcaster, from West Bromwich , announced in a pre-recorded show that he'll no longer be featuring on the radio station after receiving a call from his manager. He revealed his contract hasn't been renewed and he'll be leaving in May. Christopher Graham Collins MBE, who changed his name to Frank Skinner as his career began, said he 'wasn't going to pretend he took it well' as he informed listeners of his upcoming exit, reports MirrorOnline. Since 2009, Frank has been on Absolute Radio and he was inducted in December 2015 he was inducted into the Radio Academy Hall of Fame. He has hosted The Frank Skinner Show on a Saturday breakfast slot alongside Emily Dean and Pierre Novellie, his co-hosts. And Frank is also a host of Frank Skinner's Poetry Podcast, which will still continue to run for two more series. So, um, we're not just going now, I'm not going to say bye and that's the end we've got, like, several other, we've got some notice to serve, but um yeah, but no that was um... that's it!'"
