Premier League action against Brentford on March 30. During that time, speculation is likely to increase as to what transfer business the club may look to conduct during the summer. The latest rumours feature Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. A
Football agent has claimed that United could make a move to sign Osimhen in the summer when the transfer window reopens. United have been previously linked with a move for Osimhen, who has also been tipped to join either Chelsea or
Paris Saint-Germain. Roberto De Fanti, an agent from
Italy, has explained why United could make a move for the Nigeria international. "I could say everyone, but the truth is that United above all are looking for a centre-forward," De Fanti told Italian news outlet Tuttomercato when asked which clubs could be interested in signing Osimhen this summer. "[Rasmus] Hojlund is doing reasonably well, but the classic number 9 - the [Erling] Haaland of the situation - could be Osimhen". Elsewhere, United have been told how much they would need to spend in order to meet Borussia Dortmund's asking price for Donyell Malen. United have been heavily linked with a move for Malen for several months, with the rumours first surfacing ahead of the January transfer window. Malen remained in Dortmund but continues to be linked with a move away from the Bundesliga club. According to Sport Bild , Dortmund have placed a €60million (£51m) price tag on Malen this summer. It has been claimed that an offer at such a value would convince the Dortmund hierarchy to enter talks over a deal for the forward. As well as United, it has been claimed that Liverpool and
Arsenal are also interested in signing Malen. The 25-year-old was part of Arsenal's academy before he left to join PSV Eindhoven in 2017 - he spent four years in the Eredivisie before joining Dortmund in 2021 in a deal reportedly worth €30m (£25m).
