Manchester United and
Manchester City both had former players caught up in a huge fight that broke out following Fenerbahce's 3-2 win over Trabzonspor at Papara Park in
Turkey on Sunday night. Former QPR star Bright Osayi-Samuel punched a fan during a violent pitch invasion after the game whilst ex-Chelsea Michy Batshuayi man tried to kick another fan who ran onto the pitch. Fenerbahce players were celebrating their win in the middle of the pitch when a lone Trabzonspor supporter came onto the field to taunt them. Security tackled the masked supporter, but that didn't stop a scuffle with Osayi-Samuel. READ MORE: United vs

Osayi-Samuel had managed to break free from his teammates. As stewards chased the first invader, more fans ran onto the field until it was full of trespassers. There were moments of conflict all over the ground. One staff member signalled for Batshuayi to leave the pitch. But as he did, the Belgian striker tried to stop a fan heading towards the dugouts, reports the Mirror . The 30-year-old only managed a glancing blow with an acrobatic kick before security stopped the fan. Brazilian midfielder Fred, who had spent five years at Old Trafford , scored twice for the visitors before Batshuayi's late winner. Osayi-Samuel, 26, moved to Fenerbahce from QPR in 2021 after starting his
Football journey with Blackpool. He has played 126 matches for the
Turkish team. Batshuayi joined Fenerbahce a year later and has been scoring goals for the Super Lig big boys. The striker has scored 20 goals in 39 Super Lig games and overall, he has a record of 40 goals in 67 matches. After the match, the
Belgium international left a sharp message on X. Batshuayi didn't say anything but just put a load of angry emojis on the
Social Media site. Fenerbahce's win means they stay in second place, 30 points ahead of third-placed Trabzonspor and two points behind the top team, Galatasaray. Edin Dzeko was also in the Fenerbache squad when things kicked off. Former Southampton and Ajax winger Dusan Tadic was playing as well. Arsenal's second most expensive player of all time, Nicolas Pepe, was on the field for Trabzonspor.
