Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie had a blast celebrating weekend at The Towne House, an
Irish bar in Pennsylvania. They enjoyed Guinness, posed with excited fans, and even showed off some Irish dance moves. The couple visited The Towne House in Media, about half an hour from Philadelphia. The bar is owned by Patrick Kennedy, 32, from Co Donegal, and Brian McLaughlin, 50, from Co Tyrone, who were thrilled to host the hero and Kylie. Videos on
Social Media show the crowd going wild as Kylie, who has a background in Irish dancing, joined the McHugh School of Irish dance for a jig. A spokesperson for the bar thanked former star Kelce and his family for joining them. They said: "Slainte and thanks to legendary Eagle Jason Kelce and family for joining us for a few scoops of the black stuff on this day where we all celebrating the wearing of the green. Jason was so generous and hospitable with his time for all the adoring fans in attendance. His wife is a helluva Irish dancer by the way!" Patrick and Brian, the owners of The Towne House, also own several famous pubs in
New York and
Pennsylvania, including Carraghers - which is named after
Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher - and The Ridley House in PA. The pair are set to open The Hometown, a stunning, centuries-old castle and former bank in Rush Township this summer. Kelce, whose brother is Taylor Swift's boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has previously shown his love for the Irish community in Philadelphia and beyond. In March 2019, the
NFL star "graciously accepted" an invitation to watch a hurling and
Football match in Limerick Township. The 36-year-old watched from the sidelines as Na Toraidhe Philadelphia played Jersey Shore in a game of hurling, followed by the Delco Gaels men's football team who took on Donegal Philadelphia shortly after. The father of three is retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons, putting an end to speculation about his future following the Eagles' playoff loss last season. He is one of the most popular figures in the NFL and won
Super Bowl LII, beating the New
England Patriots.
