South Africa contestant Carol Vorderman . While chatting to Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson during the latest episode of the Staying Relevant podcast, the 35-year-old reality TV star revealed that Carol herself is also interested. As she was interviewed by This Morning’s ‘Coupon Queen’ Holly Jay-Smith, Carol, 62, was told that Pete wanted to be “one of her men”, to which she replied: “Yeah. Is that official now?” Sam relayed this to Pete during the podcast, who said: “Go on Vorders. Yes Carol - it’s official." He added: “Carol, let me know when you're free, and I can't wait to [go on a date],” he said to the camera. “We can talk [about] maths - we can have a really good night on tequila and we can wake up in the morning and I can make you breakfast.” For the latest TV and showbiz news sign up to our newsletter here . Instagram Pete’s interest in Carol comes following his exit from TOWIE earlier this year. He has since referred to the ITV2 reality show as a “place full of f**king snakes and s**t storylines”. Pete teased the other projects that he has in the pipeline in an interview with The Daily Mirror . He said: “It's a different year for me, I've obviously taken a step back from TOWIE for a number of different reasons, the timing was right. I've got so much going on, I'm just about to start a brand-new TV project but it's going to be a very busy year.” Carol, meanwhile, can currently be seen on I’m A Celebrity… South Africa.
