Holly Willoughby has told This Morning viewers 'it's good to be back' after a 'wobbly week and a half' away from the ITV show due to illness. The 42-year-old addressed her absence from TV as she opened Monday's programme alongside co-host Phillip Schofield . It's the first time the duo have appeared on the show together in over three weeks after it was revealed Holly had been suffering with a bout of shingles. With a sigh of relief, Holly told viewers at the stat of April 24's show: "It's good to be back." She then turned to co-host Phil and said: "It's good to see you." I mean, I had a wobbly week and a half. "If anybody has had shingles, it really is not the nicest thing, but yes, I'm much better. All mended and back so yes, it's lovely to see you." Phillip responded: "It's lovely to see you too." Shingles is caused by the same virus as chickenpox and causes a painful rash. According to Mayo Clinic, the varicella-zoster virus stays in your body and when it is re-activated, blotches appear on the skin and patients report feeling generally unwell and like they have a headache. Holly and Phil had both taken time off over Easter and Holly had been due to return to the show on April 17, but was forced to call in sick for the rest of the week. Rochelle Humes covered for the mum-of-two and joined Phil on the programme from Monday to Thursday last week before Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond presented Friday's show. Social Media to welcome her back. One person said on Twitter: "Love them both. Delighted to have them both back, @thismorning wouldn't be the same without them." One fan posted on Holly's Instagram: "Happy that you're back Holly! Hope you're fully recovered now." And another wrote: "Welcome back... the show hasn't been the same without you."
