Hope it's true. You guys are perfect". Kai began their response by saying: "We're just going to clear this one up and let the world know. We are..." Sanam then finished the statement saying: "... not engaged". "No, we are. We are," teased Kai before Sanam insisted: "No, we're not engaged. There's no ring." Kai subsequently added: "Not yet, but we will be. We promise you we will be". Sanam went on to suggest that "one day" they will become engaged, which prompted her boyfriend to tease that it would be "soon". She responded to him: "Maybe". They appeared on the radio station's breakfast show on Monday. Whilst they were on the show, it was stated that it was National Proposal Day and Kai was encouraged to propose using a ring that had been provided by a producer. He had commented: "I'd get down on one knee any day". Kai later seemed to kneel down and asked Sanam to marry him, to which she responded: "I accept". A photo was later posted of Sanam wearing the ring, alongside the caption: "OMG did this just happen live on the @bbcasiannetwork". Kai then re-shared it on his Instagram Story.
