Tennis champion Gordon Reid has become the latest person to criticise Stefanos Tsitsipas for the length of his bathroom breaks during victory against Andy Murray at the US Open, claiming he would not be able to show his face were he to do the same on tour.
Murray was enraged by Tsitsipas’s conduct during their first-round match at Flushing Meadows on Monday, accusing his opponent of cheating after keeping him waiting for more than seven minutes during one timeout before the fifth set before then going on
Social Media to claim, as a fact, that the 23-year-old “takes twice as long to go to the bathroom as it takes Jeff Bazos [sic] to fly into space”.
