The Washington, D.C. Area Film Critics Association named Get Out the year's top film.
The Universal satire also won for best original screenplay, written by Jordan Peele.
Acting awards went to Gary Oldman for Darkest Hour, Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Laurie Metcalf for Lady Bird, Brooklynn Prince for The Florida Project, Andy Serkis for War for the Planet of the Apes. Directing honors went to Dunkirk's Christopher Nolan, and best adapted screenplay went to Mudbound's Dee Rees and Virgil Williams.
Coco, Jane and BPM (Beats Per Minute), Blade Runner 2049 and Baby Driver were also among the winners. Steven Spielberg's The Post received the Joe Barber Award for Best Portrayal of Washington, D.C.
